1. What is FPT Cloud Guard – Alert and which resources does it support?

FPT Cloud Guard – Alert is a service that enables customers to automatically monitor and track the operational status of other FPT Cloud services. The system currently supports automatic tracking for the following resource types: Cloud Server, Load Balancer, Autoscaling, Object Storage, Kubernetes, and Database. Direct alert configuration is currently available for Virtual Machine and Auto Scaling.

2. Which notification channels does FPT Alert support?

The service supports configuring and delivering alerts through multiple channels, including: Email, Webhook, Telegram, Slack, SMS, Call, and Microsoft Teams. When configuring a recipient on the FPT Alert system, the directly supported methods are Email, Telegram, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

3. How often is Alert status data synchronized and updated?

Once an Alert is created successfully, the system continuously synchronizes information to FPT Portal at a very high frequency — every 5 seconds. This ensures that the status and data of an Alert are kept nearly in real time.

4. Can one Alert be applied to multiple virtual machines at the same time?

Yes. In the Applied to field on the Alert configuration screen, you can flexibly apply an Alert to one or multiple Virtual Machines at once by selecting All instances or by manually selecting multiple instances as needed.
